There are over 2,951 homeless people in Washington and Benton Counties. It’s confusing to know who to help and how to help. New Heights has a partnership with South Church, a weekly ministry led by John Baker, to the homeless in our community. They provide a hot meal each Sunday as well as a church service.;
They need our help and you can help! This Sunday you can help by volunteering with others to provide a meal once a month and/or donating money for tents and sleeping bags.
We are currently seeking community groups and individuals to help serve the homeless in south Washington County on the 4th Sunday of each month. Please contact Debi England at drdebiengland [at] gmail.com
For the next two Sundays, you can also help by donating money for a 3-person tent or a sleeping bag. You may give through the online link or by check to New Heights designated for South Church.
